What mental health treatment and services
are available? (1) The crime victims compensation program
provides payment for mental health treatment and services to
victims of crime who are eligible for compensation under chapter 7.68 RCW, the Crime Victims' Act.
EXCEPTION:
Benefits under the crime victims compensation program are secondary to services available from any other public or private
insurance.
(2) Services and treatment are limited to procedures that
are:
(a) Proper and necessary for the diagnoses of an accepted
condition;
(b) Available at the least cost;
(c) Consistent with accepted standards of mental health
care; and
(d) Will enable the client to reach maximum recovery.
